Humboldt is a remote system that has recently attracted the attention of the Liberty Rogues. The baron planet Bora Bora is the system's only notable satellite apart from the equally desolate Manaus Asteroid Field. The Liberty Rogues are believed to have established a hideout unknown to the authorities somewhere in the locality. Despite the system having no tactical advantage it remains an excellent corner of Liberty to conduct dealings of a sinister nature.
In recent years Lane Hackers and Junkers have been common sight in the area which has naturally brought on the interest of the Bounty Hunters Guild; searching for wanted criminals that may be hiding out with the local Rogues.

Apart from the high density of Liberty Rogue ships in the area the asteroid field has little else to speak of in terms of value or interest. Initial prospecting probes returned to show no exploitable resources could be extracted.
