Manoel was established in late 817 by the Outcasts after encountering a surprisingly well-preserved station hulk at the outskirts of an explosive gas pocket. Most likely an abandoned Kruger installation left over from the 80-year war, it was repaired and upgraded. The Outcasts intend to use Manoel both for offensive operations against the GMG, and for smuggling Cardamine to the Golden Chrysanthemums in Kusari.
