Romorantin remains a well-known station where the descendants of the first Orleanais space settlers still reside, but the port currently has very few shipping contracts to keep it alive. EFL loses billions every year to keep the station operational, and despite the resistance of the local community, the company plans to scrap the port in the coming decade unless it can find a source of income to sustain itself. |
