Comfortable, stylish, deadly. Pushing Gallic economic interests through the darker corners of her homeland, the Sunbeam was crafted as an added deterrent against Brigand Bomber strikes. More than capable of shredding incoming vessels while their charges make good with their escape, this vessvessel is not to be judged by the surface level gleam of her hull.

Review
The UY -258 "Sunbeam" Gallic Civilian Heavy Fighter is more popular among pirates and experienced escort pilots, favouring hardy weaponry and a strong hull at the expense of agility. The Sunbeam may be seen accompanied by its lighter fighter counterpart escorting Gallic corporations, or indeed raiding those very transport ships themselves. Employed by pilots from either side of the conflict, the Civilian line continues to remain a symbol of the divided nation. This ship has a weaker power core and armor than some of it's more popular Sirius civilian VHF counterparts, but what it lacks in firepower makes up for in agility, style, and shape. This ship may look flimsy, even with an armor upgrade, but don't let that fool you, in the hands of a skilled pilot it can easily outmaneuver most other Very Heavy Fighters that it comes across. The weapon placement is not that great either, it has 2 class 8 guns at the center and then 2 class 9 guns on each wing, meaning you'll do better at hitting your targets with fast firing guns, or good aiming skills if you're using heavier, slower guns. You should also note that as if the weaker power core wasn't enough, it has 90% capacity on generic ID's, albeit that's not really an issue. Pro's: Agility, shape Cons: Power core, weapon placement.Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination Review by Ivan Norovich |
