The most heavily guarded and heavily populated area within the Cayman system to this date is "Safe Haven". A massive starbase orbiting Planet Braillia, it serves as the main command center for the Reapers, as well as a sanctuary for almost the entire civilian population of the Reapers. Despite its enormous size, it is a crowded base, and the life support systems are continually stressed. A frequent supply of water and oxygen has to be brought up and purified from the now sterile planet below. Nevertheless, life on the station is comfortable. The large solar panel array provides enough energy to run the stations numerous systems and factories, but several backup fusion generators can provide additional power. The station has a formidable defensive array.
