Vichy is one of the most recent asteroid bases built in Gallia by the Council. The Sioule Asteroid Field that was used for its construction lacked any valuable natural resouces, and large asteroids within the field are mostly intact. Lack of miners also ensured that Police and Navy were never interested in patrolling the field. The Council started building Vichy in 655 AGS, and in six years it was fully operational as the primary Council outpost outside of the Gallic Border Worlds.
