Life Before Freelancing
Leon was born on Freeport 10, in 795 A.S. His father was a Maintenance Worker for pilots , who went to Planet Malta to work on there shipyards. His knowledge of Tachyon and Particle weapons made him an excellent candidate for the Outcast. His mother was a regional transport captain, doing runs from Freeport 10 to Falkland Base. She was killed after the Gallian Invasion of the Orkney system.
Only during his teen years, he started to display his rebellious behavior. Skipping school frequently, fighting, running away from home and causing trouble in general. He switched many schools, but he always repeated his usual behavior. His Father would of sent him to a juvenile centre but only Malta would take him and they justly did so. He found himself isolated from other people there, the constant ridicule of him being different by the other children made it difficult. He eventually made friends with a chosen few, those eventually became his squad mates.
When his correction time was over, he decided to apply for the 101st Outcast Guard, to him somewhat of a life long dream, to follow in his teachers footsteps. Lyon however, was pasted over sighting "The inability to keep composure under pressure" by his superiors. His friends were all accepted but soon they all turned down their acceptation to the Guard to be with Lyon. The 5 in total joined the regular Outcast wings known as the 'Omega Squadron'
Lyon was puzzled by this behavior from their side, and wanted to investigate more about it, but often found himself lacking the time needed. He successfully completed many missions for the Outcast, both easy and hard. But unknowingly he found himself before the one, which would change his life forever. He was issued a VHF, and was sent to patrol the Omicron Eta system, with two fresh recruits. Leon had a bad feeling about that, for the sole reason that he worked best on his own squadron. They started off from Siracusa Base, which Lyon had done a million times over. They were to patrol the minefield for any Corsair ships in the area, Search and Destroy. The Corsairs had been inactive for the longest time and it was unknown what their plans were. Lyon and his squad made their way around Planet Catania when they encountered three squadrons of Corsair ships. They were caught off guard. The corsairs attacked them like wasps defending their nest. Lyon was able to destroy 5 corsair ships and his recruits got one each but it was still a 3 to 1 advantage. They couldn't contact Siracusa Base because the planet was causing interference. The remaining Corsair ships were Titan class, well armored and extremely well piloted. They destroyed one recruit ship with ease and severely damaged the other recruits ship. Lyon was able to lower his shields for just a few moments and transport his fellow pilot into his cargo bay but it was now 9 to 1, all seemed lost until a Outcast Destroyer entered the area causing the Corsairs to flee. Lyon was escorted back to Siracusa with his injured recruit. The recruit died on the operating table as medical staff tried to save him. Lyon took this one the hardest...
Two months after that, Lyon contemplated resigning from the Outcast forces sighting that he had never lost a wing-man in his career , sitting in his bedroom, thinking about what happened, eaten from inside by his guilt, at one point his #2, Tyler Rodriquez said to him "We all lose something. We lose Objects, People, Planets, Ships but as long as we don't lose ourselves then we can continue to move forward and do something worth fighting for", stood up fast, boarded his shuttle and headed towards the Outcast Command only to be seen several months later, captaining a Storta he named "The Vanguard".

Vanguard
The Starviper is a Storta class Cruiser, which he got as a reward for his rank to Captain. He adores the ship, often referring to it as if it was a lady. It is highly upgraded, with major hull reinforcements and top notch weaponry.
Atlantis
The Atlantis is a Sabre class Fighter, which he purchased on Planet Malta. Not much is known about his personal fighter but it said to be heavily armored and armed with possible class 10 weapons.
Heimdall
The Heimdall is a Behemoth which Lyon uses to make through his secondary job of transporting goods with the Rhineland and Liberty to make extra cash on the side.
