Biography

Enlisted Service

Thomas Cutter entered into the service of the Liberty Navy in 795 A.S.. After graduation from Basic Military Training and his associated technical courses he was assigned to the LNS-Missouri as a navigation and tactical systems technician in 797 A.S.. During the battle of Zone 21 in early 801 A.S then Petty Officer 3rd Class Cutter was responsible for saving the lives of 12 of his fellow service members when he purged the Missouri's starboard-aft fuel storage pods prior to their combustion in a shipboard fire during the battle. It was this command decision that could have cost the Missouri the fight, but in the end saved her that garnered Cutter his recommendation to Officer Candidate School.

LNS-Yukon

Ensign Cutter graduated from West Point Academy in 805 A.S as was assigned as a tactical officer aboard the recommissioned LNS-Yukon. During his service on the Yukon Cutter learned much about the tactics and operations of the Lane Hackers, Xenos, Outcasts and Liberty Rogues. Cutter was promoted to full Lieutenant during his service aboard the Yukon.

LNS-York

Lieutenant Cutter was assigned to the Cruiser LNS-York in 809 A.S.. The York was assigned to border patrol and interdiction duties in the Magellan and Cortez systems. Following the death of the York's Commanding and Executive Officers during an engagement with an Outcast Storta class cruiser the same year, Lieutenant Cutter took command of the York and ultimately outmaneuvered the enemy cruiser before returning to the California system, saving his crew and ship. The Liberty Navy, impressed with Cutter field promoted him to Commander and left him in command of the York. Cmdr. Cutter commanded the York until 815 A.S when he formally retired from the Liberty Navy after 20 years of honorable service.

LNS-Forever.Vigilant

In 817 A.S Cutter was contacted by Liberty Navy Command and asked to re-enter service in the active reserves. Liberty was fielding several refitted Gunboat class vessels in order to protect logistical supply lines as the tensions with Rheinland continued to mount. Cutter reluctantly accepted, feeling service to Liberty was more important than retirement and assumed command of the LNS-Forever.Vigilant. He serves in this role presently.
