Thomas Cutter entered into the service of the Liberty Navy in 795 [[A.S.]].  After graduation from Basic Military Training and his associated technical courses he was assigned to the [[Battleship Missouri|LNS-Missouri]] as a navigation and tactical systems technician in 797 [[A.S.]].  During the battle of Zone 21 in early 801 [[A.S]] then Petty Officer 3rd Class Cutter was responsible for saving the lives of 12 of his fellow service members when he purged the [[Battleship Missouri|Missouri's]] starboard-aft fuel storage pods prior to their combustion in a shipboard fire during the battle.  It was this command decision that could have cost the [[Battleship Missouri|Missouri]] the fight, but in the end saved her that garnered Cutter his recommendation to Officer Candidate School.

Cutter commanded the [[Liberty Siege Cruiser|York]] until 815 [[A.S]] when he formally retired from the [[Liberty Navy]] after 20 years of honorable service.

In 817 [[A.S]] Cutter was contacted by [[Liberty Navy]] Command and asked to re-enter service in the active reserves.  [[Liberty]] was fielding several refitted [[Liberty Gunboat|Gunboat]] class vessels in order to protect logistical supply lines as the tensions with [[Rheinland]] continued to mount.  Cutter reluctantly accepted, feeling service to [[Liberty]] was more important than retirement and assumed command of the [[Forever Vigilant|LNS-Forever.Vigilant]].  He serves in this role presently.

Biography
