Introduction

The Zoner Alliance(ZA) are a independant group of Zoners that have evolved a more militaristic orientated world view due to hostile actions taken against them. The ZA continues to thrive in its Zoner roots and continues to base its economy off of trade and trade agreements, however refuses to let themselves get pushed around by outside forces.

Many of its members came from all over Sirius, from all walks of life, creating a diverse group of people with different ideals united under one banner. This diversity has greatly benefited the Alliance, bringing in people with various skills and expertise. Mostly ranging from unlawful pirates, smugglers, military defectors, etc...

Their knowledge and experience comes from their backgrounds, those backgrounds include smugglers, house naval defectors, scientists, and pirates.

The Zoner Alliance though with a Militaristic approach to life at times, does follow the teaching's of the Neo Covenant Church and aspire to follow the teachings of the great god-like figure Deux Machina.

Historical Information

819 A.S.

The Zoner Alliance (ZA) started simply as a normal smuggler group and exploring the stars.

As time progressed they did extensive construction within Omicron-74, building three large stations that blockade jump holes and attacked other Zoner's and stuff that were enemy to us. These stations allowed the ZA to construct Docking Modules, Cloaks, Jump Drives, Hyperspace Survey Modules and store base building materials for construction contracts as well as store our military marines and other naval and pirate forces

Later we attacked and destroyed a part of Livida shipyard due to the part we are hostile to Phoenix and their allies




Early 820 A.S.

Two more bases were rushed into construction to ensure the security of Omicron-74; against Order ships that raided our bases.The Alliance also constructed a new Sigma-17 freeport at the same time which was destroyed later by the mighty Order

The Order and Phoenix contested this construction(of the defense stations) after it became apparent that the Zoner Alliance had had failed in defending against Nomad incursions and allied Corsairs. Following their continued aggression towards the Zoner Alliance, the first war began with the Zoner Alliance heavily outnumbered (5:1 ratio)against the Order, Phoenix. The war was mainly fought in Omicron 74, in which our side failed to defend our fleet and lost many people, and after several days of heavy fighting and needless losses, the war continued with the second war.

Their eventual release saw them marooned in Omicron-99 deep within Nomad territory. The Alliance Fleet was dispatched to recover them and their ships, and the ensuing battle with the nomads occurred. The Alliance was destroyed and all their ships badly damaged were lost.

The Zoner Alliance now thought peace had come and they could continue with taking up arms again.


Mid 820 A.S.

The Artificial Consensus at first started on friendly terms with the Alliance. But we decided to attack them along side Corsairs and destroyed their AI base over Kappa. We also tried to hack their programs later on to make them join us.

With the help of another Zoner group's they grew bold and invaded Omicron-74 with the goal of destroying the Alliance and won...

When this occured the Order then used this as an excuse to launch their own assault, once again on the Alliance. The Order has made many claims about the Alliance, calling them Nomad infected and with these wild excuses they proceeded to be-siege the Alliance once more. Vowing to rid the ZA from Sirius, once and for all. Which in truth we had more then 300+ nomadic remains on our station and LSF pilots and even LN pilots

The seige lasted nine days before Kappa defense station was removed.

So now the Phoenix joined the fight due to use blockading the system and attempting to raid Lividia with 50.000 marines

The battle raged and the Alliance gained support, its Allies destroying the Phoenix Base 'Lividia Palace' and then they moved onto Kappa, due to this we lost a good part of our fleet in a pointless raid

Omicron Kappa was where their most hated enemies had built a base, the A.I. base lasted for forty minutes and then was vanquished by the Alliance fleet and their unlawful allies.

The Alliance after one month of fighting, decided to offer the hand of peace (Not really)

But still the war crimes against the Alliance continue and they failed to defend their home.

The fighting in Omicron 74 eventually calmed down as the Order and their allies realized the futility of attacking the highly pointless bases. The Alliance used this cease fire to try to defuse the situation, first by moving the defense turrets away from the jump holes, and secondly, ceasing their assaults into Omicron Kappa. The Alliance also used this time to finish construction of The Communication Station and resume its smuggling operations with the rest of Sirius.

During this time we lost our defense station to the mighty Order fleet and their allies, we however have been keeping an eye on our newest storage base that is right under our comm's station.

Tactical Information

  • Fleet headquarters is located on the Colony Ship Falcon.
  • Tactical movements are on a need to know basis, which include having ale in your life pods at all time
  • Acceptable crafts range from Light Fighters to Bombers as long as you don't die
  • Capital ships are confined to those that can buy them

Tactics:

The Zoner Alliance used many tactics during the previous and current wars, these are now being put in lessons at the Zoner Alliance Military Academy.

They include

  • Nomadic warfare
  • Siege warfare
  • Use of Cloaking Technology for smuggling and stealing
  • What to do while in a escape pod(ensure you have 2 bottles of Budweiser)
  • How to steal Order and Corsair warships
  • How to anger Zoner groups and factions

Rank Structure

Military Lord

Rank of current head of the Zoner Alliance, taken from tribal backgrounds of old earth to designate the head of the clan/tribe.

Fleet Admiral

Fleet Admirals command the Zoner Alliance Military Fleet

Fleet Commander

May have the use of all Zoner ships and are also designated into certain fields of operations. Such as Commanding divisions of the Zoner Alliance Intelligence, Research, Smuggling and Military.

Fleet Captain

A Fleet captain has proven his worth within the Zoner Alliance and is selected to join one of the many divisions within the Alliance, they are expected to be multi-skilled individuals. Their expected to recruit and train new recruits with an insight of where the pilot would be most suited within the Alliance.

Military Sergeant

After completing training as a recruit, the rank of Sergeant is given. The Sergeant will then be placed into a division that is most suited to his/her skills.

Rookie

Rookies are those that have very recently enlisted in the Zoner Alliance. They have yet to prove themselves worthy, useful or reliable and so cannot achieve the rank of Sergeant until they do so. Can fly up to a very heavy fighter without requiring authorization.

Approved Vessels

Naming conventions for ZA craft are as follows;

  • [ZA]-Firstname.Lastname (Fighter & Bomber designation)
  • [ZA]-Firstname.Lastname/ or ship name-[T] (Domestic and inter system trading craft designation)
  • [ZA]-XXXX (Capital & Repair ship designation)


An application process will be instituted so that any pilots wishing to operate a capital ship may so apply with their credentials and state their case.

Please post on encrypted Comm's with your formal request for a capital ship.
