A heavily modified battleship of the Normandie class, Beuvray was previously stationed in Burgundy to assist offensive and defensive operations of the Gallic Royal Navy against the Council. With this role now filled by the Rocroi, the Beuvray was reassigned to the frontline.

With the push into New London, the Beuvray was re-tasked to form one third of the tripartite defense of the Southampton junction, although the shipyard itself was scuttled by the defending Bretonian forces. The Beuvray is considered by Bretonian military strategists to be the lead ship of Southampton Trinité, citing her veteran crew who served extensively against Council forces in the Gallic Border Worlds.

When that chance occurred a diversionary task-force shifted the Southampton Trinité's attention to the flanks while a strike force comprised of several Liberty Siege Cruisers, freshly arrived from Alberta via the Supergate, moved into range of the Beuvray. The flotilla of Liberty Siege Cruisers, with successive shots from their dedicated forward guns were able to destroy the Beauvray in record time, taking the GRN by suprise and surpassing the expectations of Liberty military analysts.
