Considering its very light hull and armament, you would expect this to be a very small and fast cruiser, right up there with the hatchet. Unfortunately, it's actually a very long cruiser, and its turn rate, while being fast, is only slightly above average for a cruiser. However, if you are able to take advantage of its shape by keeping its front or back aimed towards the enemy and strafing, it can be an effective ship. It has a forward gun and one heavy turret aiming forwards, with both heavy turrets aiming backwards, giving it alright firepower. However, its regular cruiser turret slots are so poorly located that even with a full solaris loadout you will find it very difficult to defend yourself against bombers.
