Planet Cork was once the home of Mollys. In 802 A.S., an invading Corsair fleet bombed the planet with thermonuclear bombs. All Mollys who did not escape from the planet were killed either by heat or by radiation. With its surface uninhabitable for at least 400 years from now due to harsh radiation, Cork became a monument and reminder to the Mollys who their true enemies are.

Recently, with the influx of traffic from Bretonia, the Mollys decided that in the long run, it would be too expensive for the risk to resettle Cork. While Bretonia came seeking to develop new infrastructure in the system, they pose a considerable threat to any colonial effort, even without direct knowledge of Cork's history. The Mollys now hope to drive Bretonia out of the system so they may one day attempt to re-establish a new colony, broadening the scope of their cause beyond [[Dublin]].

Planet Cork, a world barely considered habitable for human life, was ignored by Planetform for terraforming in favor of Planet Harris, which showed more promise as a colonial investment. However, this did not stop the Mollys from attempting their own colonial effort that saw the rising of several underground facilities to house a sizable number of Molly colonists as a place of refuge from Bretonia's law enforcement agencies.

The sanctuary came to an unfortunate end with the discovery of this planet by the Corsairs; soon the colonies were targeted from orbit by a strike force of theirs. Once where there were subterranean complexes, now sit a number of craters, with the hunreds sheltered there forever lost. Cork instantly became a rallying cry for the Molly movement against the Corsairs.

The Mollys now hope to drive Bretonia out of the system so they may one day attempt to re-establish a new colony, broadening the scope of their cause beyond Dublin.
