Named for the demonic Yokai of legend, a terror of ancient seas known to capsize the vessels of those who dare approach it, is a fitting guardian for the borders of Kusari. Commissioned to Samura Industries in 813 A.S. by the Naval Forces to meet the needs of the ongoing war in within the dense asteroid fields of the Taus, the Umibozu is the product of lessons learned by the experience of a hundred battles to deliver the fist of the Emperor on any and all fields.
In 817 A.S. the Umibozu phased out the reliable but increasingly obsolete Kishiro Catamaran, confirming once more Samura as the contractor of choice in building military craft for the Naval Forces.

This bomber has the typical 4 guns firing forwards, about the same weapon accuracy as most bombers, and the average light bomber power core. Its good features are: the close torpedo mounts, making it easier to SNAC smaller targets; an extra rear-firing turret; a small size and thin frame, making it easy to dodge enemy fire, and the agility needed to dodge a fighter that attempts to tail you. Its bad feature is lower armor than most bombers, but this is worth it in exchange for a smaller size. Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination Review by TLI-Inferno |
Identical as Nodachi, this ship is good. Having great gun and Snac placement and solid agility makes it extremely dangerous. The cons are weak armor and the way ship was built, it's very long – one of the longest bombers in the game. Still, because it's so slim this bomber is definitely the one I would recommend.
Pros: Agility, Snac placement, Gun placement
Cons: Armor, Long shape
Rating: 7/10
