Certain rare metals were discovered in the field, however, economical significance of this area proved to be lower than initially expected. The station was populated only with few IMG engineers for almost 10 years. After that, the war between [[Bretonia]] and [[Kusari]] forced many miners to escape from Tau region, and some families chose Dounby as their new place of living.
