| description = Omega-15 is a checkpoint system of the [[Border Worlds]]. It is mostly a battleground between the [[Corsairs]] and the [[Red Hessians]], who are seen in large numbers in the system. It is also home to [[Battleship Schwerin]], which orbits planet Rugen, awaiting the mining expeditions that will probably be soon sent there by [[Daumann Heavy Construction]] and [[Kruger Minerals]]. Omega-15 also houses an outpost of the [[Bounty Hunters Guild]], which is mostly used as a refueling station for pilots who want to venture further into the border worlds. [[Junkers]] are also present in this system, although they try to keep to their Depot inside the Gruinder Debris Field.

| description = Languedoc is a system in the [[Gallic Border Worlds]] that harbors one of the two connections into Sirius. For centuries it was heavily patrolled by the [[Gallic Royal Navy]], but during the [[Second Gallic War]] it was conquered by a [[Council]] sneak-attack. Within a year, [[Council]] had opened a path through the minefield and used the resources in Languedoc to construct [[Reunion]] Station and contact the rest of Sirius, breaking Gallic isolation.

Languedoc is one of the two systems primarily controlled by [[Council]], and produces a large portion of the resources to fuel Council's war effort. However, the [[Gallic Royal Navy]] is amassing a colossal armada in the [[Dauphine]] system and plans to take back Languedoc within the year- a move that would force [[Council]] to seek refuge in the Tau-systems and allow the Gallic Monarchy to begin the invasion of Sirius.

: This hot world is the only living witness of nearby mysterious explosion - explosion of an unknown object that most assume to be a Rheinland space station. During the infamous 80 year war with GMG, when Rheinland Military had to withdraw from Omega-15, the system was completely overtaken by pirates. Rheinland government restricted access to all documents about old Omega-15 activities, and even Junkers who investigate the site for many years have no clues about what exactly happened on the orbit of Skagen.
+
: Ales is a lifeless and unhospitable world devoid of water and oxygene. GMS surveys have shown presence of significant copper deposits planetside, but no efforts were taken to exploit them so far.

: A mining colony was established on Quillan in 699 A.S., when easily accessible deposits of copper and other metal ores were found on the planet's surface. For a long time, the Gallic Metal Service was administering the colony with the help of Gallic Police and smaller shipment companies from Gallia. Despite rising pirate acitivity in Languedoc, Quillan mining operations proved to be profitable, and resource extraction on the planet was rising until the beginning of the Second Gallic War.
 +

 +
: In the end of 815 A.S., a large Council fleet has breached through Quillan's orbital defenses. The Council armed forces landed on the planet in attempt to gain control of the mining operations. Gallic Army regiments stationed on planet's surface resisted the invaders, but after many months of fierce fighting the Council troops gained the upper hand. The victory was ensured by both numerical superiority of the Council and by the support of local miners who were inspired by the success of Marne rebellion.

: Despite the disastrous destruction of their research installation in orbit of the planet Skagen many years ago, the Rheinland Military decided to station the Battleship Schwerin in orbit of the planet Rugen in order to guard the known jump hole to the Dresden system.

: Nimes is the second largest settlement (after Planet Quillan) in Languedoc, a system located on the very edge of the Gallic space. For nearly 15 years, it was one of the few places controlled by the lawful Gallic forces after Languedoc system was overrun by the Council. However, in 814 A.S. it was quietly penetrated by Council special forces with the help of loyal civilians. In a few hours, all Police and Navy defenders were neutralized, and the Council reported about the most bloodless victory in the history of Second Gallic War. Since then, Nimes has become the center of Council administration for Languedoc and Dauphine.

: Launched in early 816 A.S., the Battleship Schwerin is one of the newest battleships in the Rheinland Fleet, although its captain, Commodore Jessika Lowe, has seen action in many engagements against the Corsairs during the brief but bloody Corsair invasion of Rheinland.

: Due to the heavy pirate activity in Omega-15 that not even the recently constructed Bounty Hunter base of Rostock has been able to contain, the Battleship Schwerin is the Rheinland Military's frontline defence against the Red Hessians, Junkers and Corsairs that continually try to enter Dresden.

: Where there's junk, there are the Junkers. They've been around since the earliest days of the Trade Lanes. Descended from the working classes, they developed within the House systems as a sort of necessary evil, handling the dirty work that no one else would. They do well salvaging valuable materials from the ever-increasing debris fields throughout Sirius, with the notable exception of Kusari. To this day they remain held at bay by the Hogosha.
+
: Montpellier is a defensive installation built by the Navy over two hundred years ago to secure the mines that hide the pass into the Orkney system. In 817 A.S. it was heavily damaged by a suicide attack of a Council battleship that carried thermonuclear explosives. Most of the station, however, survived, and after breaching the mine field Montpellier was rebuilt, repressured, and assigned to a new task: defend the newly discovered path to other Houses from any attempts of the Gallic Royal Navy to retake the path and threaten the newly established Reunion Station.

: Anyone who deals with Junkers knows they live by a strict code; if you're not a Junker, you're not part of the family. A Junker will double-cross you without a second thought, and they're fiercely protective of each other. Most House corporations consider the Junkers to be simple criminals, but Junkers will occasionally do favors for the police, turning in the odd, mid-level criminal or letting them know about the occasional drug shipment. So despite some harassment, the police stop short of shutting them down. The infrequent police cleanup operations are little more than exercises in public relations, though there's no love lost between the two groups.

: The Junkers make their official money from salvaging debris within the fields, but also have a good deal going with various criminals, who like their "no questions asked" policy. Tolerated by the governments, Junkers sometimes deal in contraband, but they are extremely hard to catch red-handed. They are frequently patronized by the criminal element for the refuge they offer within the often hostile territory of House capitol systems.

: Liberty has two groups: a major population in the New York system, and a smaller enclave in Texas. The Junker base of operations in New London is located near the shipyards within the Southampton Debris Field. In New Berlin they scavenge the remaining pockets of industrial waste and scrap within the asteroid fields. Their latest foray is a departure -- a base in the Border Worlds. Attracted by the ALG operation in Sigma-13, they have set up shop near the facility and do most of the dirty work, picking off the best loot from the old ships for themselves. It also serves as a convenient launching point for Cardamine and Artifact runs into New Berlin. Long-distance smuggling is new for the faction, which is still perfecting this skill.

Languedoc is a system in the Gallic Border Worlds that harbors one of the two connections into Sirius. For centuries it was heavily patrolled by the Gallic Royal Navy, but during the Second Gallic War it was conquered by a Council sneak-attack. Within a year, Council had opened a path through the minefield and used the resources in Languedoc to construct Reunion Station and contact the rest of Sirius, breaking Gallic isolation.

Languedoc is one of the two systems primarily controlled by Council, and produces a large portion of the resources to fuel Council's war effort. However, the Gallic Royal Navy is amassing a colossal armada in the Dauphine system and plans to take back Languedoc within the year- a move that would force Council to seek refuge in the Tau-systems and allow the Gallic Monarchy to begin the invasion of Sirius.

Diameter: 12,487 km
Mass: 7.02 x 10e24 kg
Terrain: Barren
Temperature: -102°C to -64°C
Escape Velocity: 8.81 km/sec

Planet Quillan

Planet Quillan
A mining colony was established on Quillan in 699 A.S., when easily accessible deposits of copper and other metal ores were found on the planet's surface.
In the end of 815 A.S., a large Council fleet has breached through Quillan's orbital defenses.
Location: F/6
Diameter: 12,417 km
Mass: 8.92 x 10e24 kg
Terrain: Terrestrial
Temperature: -34°C to 20°C
Escape Velocity: 10.37 km/sec

Planet Cerbere

Planet Cerbere
Planet Cerbere is relatively small for the gas giant class, and it is just as deadly as its name suggests. The planet's atmosphere contains a combination of acids hazardous for most types of research equipment. Due to dangers and high costs, lower levels of Cerbere atmosphere remain unaccessible for Gallic scientists to study.

Space Stations

Nimes Station

Nimes Station
Nimes is the second largest settlement (after Planet Quillan) in Languedoc, a system located on the very edge of the Gallic space.

Montpellier Guard Station

Montpellier Guard Station
Montpellier is a defensive installation built by the Navy over two hundred years ago to secure the mines that hide the pass into the Orkney system. In 817 A.S. it was heavily damaged by a suicide attack of a Council battleship that carried thermonuclear explosives. Most of the station, however, survived, and after breaching the mine field Montpellier was rebuilt, repressured, and assigned to a new task: defend the newly discovered path to other Houses from any attempts of the Gallic Royal Navy to retake the path and threaten the newly established Reunion Station.
