Nebulae
Creuse Nebula
A nebula that is slowly contracting into planet Le Blanc, which exists at the center of the nebula.
Brenne Dust Cloud
A dense cloud of space dust. The Unione Corse frequently launch attacks out of this area.
Yevre Dust Cloud
A sparse cloud of space dust and small asteroids orbiting Planet Mereau.
Asteroid Fields
Cher Ice Asteroid Field
Cher is a large asteroid field consisting mainly of ice asteroids. The field is notable for high pirate activity: a jump hole into Orleanais is located inside, as well as a depot belonging to the Maquis. The whole field is slowly orbiting around Planet Briare, and in several hundred million years the field will fully condense around Briare, forming a new moon.
Indre Asteroid Field
A large field of rock asteroids that contain small amounts of Beryllium. GMS has tried to establish mining operations several times, but Brigand attacks proved to be too intense in the field to make a mining operation economically viable.
Arnon Asteroid Field
Arnon is an asteroid field located far away from the orbital plane of the Berry system. It was not explored thoroughly until about 660 AGS, when large deposits of Platinum were found within many of the field's asteroids. GMS succeeded in acquiring the concession to mine the precious substance. Since then, Vierzon Mining Facility was built inside the field. A trade lane leading from Planet Berry is operating to deliver Platinum shipments.
Aubigny Asteroid Field
Aubigny is a large asteroid field which is rich with mineable Beryllium. Sancerre facility was built inside the field as early as 386 AGS, to mine Beryllium out of the surrounding fields. Trade lanes were later built within the field. The Dauphine jump gate is also located in Aubigny, one of only three jump gates leading into the Gallic Border Worlds.
