When the war against Kusari started in 814 A.S., the Bretonia Armed Forces had no bombers to counter numerous Kusari capital ships that invaded Tau-31. Bretonia engineers had only two years to design and start building a new Bretonia bomber, and they have outdone themselves. Based on the Templar very heavy fighter model, the Challenger is one of the most powerful bomber crafts available in Sirius. Although expensive and not yet numerous, this bomber has already proved effective in battles against Kusari destroyers and gunboats.
