Champagne System

Champagne is the birthplace of The Council, and with it the Second Gallic War. The events in the Champagne system have sculpted what Gallia is today, and may yet change all of Sirius. It remains the Council's fortress, and even the Gallic Royal Navy does not often launch attacks into the system.

Areas of Interest

Aisne Asteroid Field

Between Planet Marne and Planet Sezanne, the Aisne Asteroid Field is fairly quiet save for the tradelanes or Gallic Royal Navy patrols spying on Council's defenses.

Ardenne Asteroid Field

The Ardenne Asteroid Field is often frequented by Gallic Brigand transports and personnel carriers, and several of their weapons platforms have been sighted near the edge of the field. Few other ships are ever seen leaving the field, other than the occasional Unione Corse or Maquis envoy.

Aube Asteroid Field

Few ships ever go in or out of the Aube Asteroid Field, save for Council armored transports. The Gallic Royal Navy patrols that enter the field rarely leave, and the other Gallic unlawful factions usually avoid the area.

Seine Nebula

Unione Corse transports often transit between this nebula and the nearby Planet Marne. Maquis and Gallic Brigands are also spotted along the edge of the Seine Nebula from time to time, but Council rarely ventures into the cloud.
