The Corsairs' survival is rooted in their ability to survive and adapt, the Titan is no different. On the surface the design is somewhat visually similar to the M7 Class, however the power system is a revolutionary step forward and the armor rating is the heaviest available. This provides maximum offensive and defensive capabilities while still delivering speed and maneuverability. This ship is, in short, the one.
History
The M8 Titan class has been the mainstay of the Corsair fleet for almost a generation, and is favoured by most pilots as their primary patrol ship. Whilst development of the Gladiator Heavy Fighter in 817 A.S raised concerns that the Titan would be made obsolete, the heavy armour and flawless design has allowed the M8 class to survive the test of time, continuing to provide Corsairs with technological superiority against all potential adversaries.

Review
The M8 Titan Very Heavy Fighter, in comparison to other ships of its class, is more heavily armoured but, as a result, less maneuverable. Whilst skilled Corsair pilots have developed specialized techniques and dog-fight styles to compensate for the Titan's comparatively low turn speed, pilots who are new to the Titan may struggle to adjust to the unique but powerful ship. The Titan's heavy armor and large powerplant favor direct, head on attacks. Jousting is a very effective tactic, as it uses the ship's advantages to gain the upper hand. The famous VHF of the Corsairs, main rival of the Sabre and the Eagle. This ship is the heavier, slower and more powered. Most people choose devastating Sabre or agile Eagle instead of the defensive Titan, and Titan is underestimated in most case, but this unique babe has her own advantages. Her power can sponsor a full set of 4x CODEs and 2x del Cids, a monstrous blow to even gunboats and cruisers. Also she is hard to be hit from the sides or above/under, which compensates for slow turning speed. The power core is what leaves others behind, with ability to spam Mini Razor shots, thus makes her an anti-everything. Strong armor to withstand to deal the heavy blows and unspreaded weapon hardpoints to warante attack with best precision. Only low agility and the back-firing turret is quite a drawback. In the hands of a skilled pilot, she is, in short, the ONE. Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination Review by Cyber Dragon |
