New Tours is a small Gallic Royal Navy outpost recently erected to serve as a stable base of operations and a waystation for patrols in Tau-31. Additionally, due to its position adjacent to Holman, this facility also keeps an eye on the activities of the Independent Miners Guild. It has enough facilities to maintain a number of fighter wings.
The base has experienced a number of difficulties, however, particularly due to the increased Maquis raids in the area. Additionally, there's an anomaly in the station's artificial gravity, which crew and inspectors alike have deemed to be "faulty."
