With the standard gun set of a Heavy Fighter, and the shield  and agility to go with it. However, the Charon happens to have the armor and powercore of some of the lighter Very Heavy Fighters. Similar to the Virage, just smaller, and lacking the class 10 slots. The Charon is probably the most used in the Taus by the Colonials and the IMG, which means its main opponent is the Sabre. Overall, the Sabre has the edge, with the firepower and armor of it severely outclassing the Charon. However, that doesn't mean you should look away from this monster, even though many do. Its overall prowess makes it one of the top Heavy Fighters in Discovery. ( Yes, I know its classed as a Very Heavy Fighter but it just doesn't have the right stats to be one in my opinion ) }}
