Kansas is a relatively unpopulated system with many astronomical features. [[DSE]] has found the system around 790 A.S and claimed it to the [[Liberty Republic]] but the government decided to ignore the system to promote the development of other system such as [[Alberta]] and just built [[Junction Base]]. [[Pirates]]and terrorists like [[Liberty Rogues]] and [[Xenos]] used that fast and built bases in the system with no government presence and destroyed [[Junction Base]] in 818 AS. The [[Xenos]] have even built here [[Refugio Base]] as their new main stronghold and capital. The want to colonice the [[Planet Death Valley]] one day.

In 823 AS the [[Commonwealth of Liberty]] finished [[America Freeport]] and started mining operation for the [[Copper Ore]] in the system; helped by [[DSE]]. Npw the [[LSF]] has sent a [[Battlecruiser]] to take an eye on that now hostile system.
