Anyone here have a Patton?

Ive had one for a while and hated it. but now it seems the Pershing cant cope with the endless streams of high tier russian meds.

Is the Patton still as useless as it was? and does 1 shell still cost 1000 silver? 0_o

Dashy, since you already complained about the Pershing too, are you sure it's a problem of tanks and not of you not liking them?

Because i swear, they are damn fine tanks. And there is nothing you should be afraid of from russian meds.
I don't know Dash, I'll post my Patton stats:

Around 260ish battles, 59% winrate, 949 average XP, 2126 average damage, 1945 efficiency. And I know many people with way better stats. Frankly, it's the best tier 9 medium by a long way and I simply love. Probably it doesn't fit your style, but there's nothing wrong with the tank.
hm, yeah. I was thinking about that. maybe its my playing style. but I like brawling. the pershing isnt too good at it. too slow, not agile enough.

Then I read the Patton is faster and more agile. But it costs a fortune to run and its made of paper.

So my question is: has it improved any or is it still abottomless money pit?
I'm not making any money with it, that's for sure. But (without premium that is) it can carry it's own weight more often than not. So I don't need to grind my ass in tier 5s or premiums to afford it.
Prime example of a bad team when ELC is top tank.

Wow was loving the new shell normalization until i played my T25/2. 8 shots on lower hull of E75(weak spot) and 7 bounces,1 pen that did nothing. The 90MM is utterly useless now.

KV5 magic lol.

>because a tier 7 penning a tier 9 from the front, especially one built for armor, makes sense

Also the T25/2 couldn't pen the E-75's lower plate in 7.5, either.

I penned plenty of E75's in 7.5 with the T25/2. Played it again, and bounced off IS3 lower plate, and even the side of a dam tiger. That 90MM was never a strong gun, but now it is just crap. Now the T25/2 really needs the 105MM like T25AT has. Oh well. i got 50K free exp saved up, maybe i just jump to the T28 proto.
I don't understand why so many think the Super Pershing is a bad tank. IMHO its Evil incarnate. And it seems the server agrees with that opinion :

Note that even with just one kill, the spotting I managed to do garnered me damage points worth 2835, resulting in a total XP earning for the battle of 1206.
Remember, kills is not the ultimate XP earning method. Number of kills is primarily an e-peen factor.

The amount of damage done or caused by your actions, is the main factor in earning credits and XP.

My 100'th battle in the Super Pershing.
Learning your tanks weaknesses and strengths enables you to utilize it to the fullest. Same goes for learning the firing zones on the maps. You can cover more than just your close surroundings, if you get to the right spots.

I'm not saying the SP is a bad tank - I just didn't care for its gun.
