I'm still playing. Currently grinding credits for the t-54. Can't decide whether to sell my t-44.
I've just got my t-54. And I have to say it's awesome, even 3/4 stock. The turret is invincible (almost) and hull armour is wonderful. Almost too wonderful, as now I'm getting shot by gold ammo of tier VIII tanks. One such occasion involved a type 59 steadily penning the upper glacis plate from 100 m, while I unsuccessfully dinged away with the lb-1. Upgrading the gun is of highest importance, as this battle shows:

Bouncing on e100's rear is not exactly fun.

Finally getting my T110E4 Tier X US TD. The jury is still out after 23 battles on whether I like it or not. It definitely needs a different approach to playing, compared to the T30 and T28-Protoype. A very low RoF, and less than optimal turret armor, combined with a bad gun depression compared to the two previous tier US TD's means that it really is a support tank, not a combined support/attack vehicle like the T30 and T28 Prototype. But the high Alpha damage compensates a lot for it. Just remember to use peek'a'boom tactics, and preferably never go alone on a flank.
To the red team T110E5 - Riiiight.. You think I'm dumb enough to slug it out in the open while having such a very low RoF ? I'm not, which shows why I ended up with 5 kills, and you got zero...
