My primary artillery piece is the M12, but I got the AMX 105 and the premium Tier V Le(whatever) both great arty pieces. The French artillery suffer the least since their damage has always been low, but the accuracy and reload has always been high.
I tried playing arty last week for the first time. It not easy getting kills like I thought, but yet you always seem to see other arty players getting lots of kills. I like the AMX tanks from the French, mainly because they are fast unlike other slow arty tanks. Although, I've not yet had one to try.
Since the new update though, now it seems you get killed much easier. Maybe it's just me?
About the best tank I've driven that's fun to use, is the Luchs from the Germans. Fast and very agile to use in close battle and packs a Tier V machine gun on a Tier 4 tank. So it can do some good damage with that machine gun.
Loving the accuracy buff. I can finally snipe properly with my German railguns again!

Was playing at a friends who has replays turned off, so I cannot show a replay
Implying no one really shot the TOG, since only 6 shells came in total. TOG is a butt because of it's ability to rapidly die if it's getting attention.
The gun is OK though.
I did not take many hits as my idiot team were all rushing ahead of me. So i just kept chugging along shooting every tank that showed it's face to my team mates. Plus the TOG has great gun depression, and all i showed over hills was my turret.
People rush, and TOG is left behind so best to snipe any, and everything that shows up.
Also had 1 good scout spotting, and running, so that 17Pounder just tears shite up at 300+ meters. 1on1 with its HPs, and gun it mauls any other tier 6 as long as you do not play peek a boo, but charge them, and fire while they reload.
To be honest I hate AT-15, At-2 and At-7 were the best so far.

Hmmm not looking forward to the AT-15 now. But i hear you. The 200ish armour is great up to tier 7, but after that most tanks get 200+ pen guns. Not to mention prem ammo.
