The Arecibo Complex is a remote Ageira facility dedicated to the study of the Puerto Rican Rift. Possessing all the high tech equipment necessary to endeavour in the necessary research, security on the station is understandably high, as Ageira fears that even the slightest leak could compromise its monopoly on FTL technology.
Sightings of LSF ships in the nearby sectors of Arecibo have been reported, without confirmation however. Ageira hasn't confirmed the fact that LSF has a presence in the station, apart from the normal security detachment that these bases have. But the nearby access to Rheinland space serve as an opportunity for the Liberty intelligence agency that could be too good to pass up.
