That, along with its recently modified power systems, makes the Wyrm a superior value in its class.

Light Fighters are often overlooked in our mod and pushed aside in favor of their "bigger brothers," the VHFs. But there are some LFs out there that truly shine like no other, and can efficiently tackle the jobs that normally require an HF or VHF to accomplish. The Wyrm is one such ship. This little shoehorn-looking thing is perfectly balanced between agility and hull integrity. It's more heavily armored than many other ships of its class, and yet it still holds its place as one of the most maneuverable ships available. It's also small. Like, unbelievably small, even compared to other LFs. If you know even the basics of dodging, you'll provide a nearly impossible target for your enemies. You'll have no trouble staying out of the line of fire and positioning yourself behind your big slow opponent in your zippy little Wyrm. However, the Wyrm shares the same shortcoming that all Light Fighters do, with its small number of weapon-hardpoints and relatively weak powercore. But slap on a few Pulse guns, a cruise disruptor, and add a nuke mine or a missile, and you've got one hard-to-hit death-machine. Just make sure not to blow yourself up with your own explosives.Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination Review by Zukeenee |
