History

It was 818 A.S, and the Molly Republic was on their way to sign their own death. Liam mac'Ceallaigh, the councilor in charge with Breen and the others, fled into nowhere when they discovered that they had been betrayed by Liam´s younger brother.

Andy now leads the newly formed Separatists, a group sourced from loyal republicans, and other like minded Mollies. They returned to their roots, targetting their old enemies - corsairs, unwanted pirates and of course the Bretonian corporations.

With the rise of other clans inside the once powerful Molly nation, the need for a stable council superceeded any previous hostilities that remained from the old republic.

Goals

  • Robbing and plundering bretonian corporations
  • Getting away with it
  • Refilling our stock of booze

Molly Council

The Molly Council. Some say it's just a puppet of the Separatists, used to controll the rest of the Mollies. Those who make such claims usually don't live long enough to pass it on.

Lisburn Rock

Discovered in 794 A.S. by Molly scouts returning from a reconnaissance mission into Omega 5, Lisburn Rock was the perfect location to construct a fortress for basing Molly forces at, from which they would be able to combat Corsair incursions into Bretonia. A huge rock asteroid located on the edges of the Keswick ice cloud in Cambridge, the interior was hollowed out and construction was eventually completed in 804 A.S.

Raiding parties are often launched from the base on the nearby trade lanes, and with the convenient location of the Omega 3 jump hole, supplies from Freeport 1 are fairly easy to obtain, as well as providing the Mollys with a place to dispose of stolen goods. The Corsairs often strike across the Cambridge Line from Omega 5, and while the Mollys don't hold much love for the Bretonia Armed Forces, they consider Bretonia to be their turf and Lisburn Rock is their frontline defence against the invading Corsair squadrons.

Creidhne

In 809 A.S., the Mollys bought three destroyers from the Outcasts to have better chances to oppose Corsair intervention into Dublin. Later they build in co-orporation with the Liberty Rogues the feared "Scylla", and since the plans of Corsair invasion in Dublin were delayed, they used the destroyers to achieve their own goals. Terrorizing Bretonia corporations was always a high priority for the Mollys, and they have stationed one of their destroyers, named Creidhne in the Somerset Asteroid Field to provide supplies and repairs for local raiding squads.
