Areas of Interest

Nebulae

Glarus Cloud

The Glarus Cloud has been charted from a distance but left largely unexplored, as GMS survey teams have been concentrating on more accessible regions in the system.

Vaud Cloud

Trailing planet Avers is the wide Vaud Cloud which makes up the Avers Trojans. Early GMS surveys of the cloud have shown the materials present in the system to be of little economic value, relegating further exploration of the clouds in the system it to tertiary priority to GMS cartographers.

Asteroid Fields

Bern Field

The Bern Field is an enormous asteroid belt surrounding Zurich's yellow giant. Initial surveys indicate little to no mineral deposits of economic value in the compact rock asteroids field. Also little to no emissions are recorded from the field indicating very little traffic by the system residents.

Interestingly, the Bern Field is nearly analogous to Bering's Tanner Belt in composition and density, and the similar color of their suns has led to Zurich being described as a home away from home for the Unioners of Pacifica.

Valais Cloud

Preceding Planet Avers are the asteroids that make up the Avers Greeks in the Valais Cloud. Its distance from any settlements make in depth cartography difficult, and the limited value of the materials present preclude extensive charting.
