The pearl of colonial engineering, the Pytho is the most powerful small ship the fleet can offer. Having the Nyx fighter at its roots, this ship received a bigger powerplant and more powerful weapons in an attempt to fight back the Outcast destroyers that were causing a lot of trouble to the smaller and heavier ships in the Taus' asteroid fields. The small front and side profiles, make this bomber one of the best assault weapons the Republic knows.

Review Much like the Nyx this bomber is fairly average in terms of handling, and in terms of the power core output. Sporting four forward-firing bomber guns, and the usual two torpedo/disruptor slots, the common setup for these bombers is to mount a SNAC and Train Cruise Disruptor. The Pytho's chief advantage is much like the Nyx: From the front and side, they present a very small profile to get hit on, and as such are hard to be hit at range. The Pytho is thus most useful while bombing from long distances, using their small target profile to easily dodge incoming fire.
