Ironwatsas is an individual formerly thought to be a megalomaniacal cyborg, formerly the leader of the Consortium. However, new revelations indicate this is not the case, and that Watsas is something altogether different and more powerful, and that the Consortium was simply a temporary tool of his will...
His only known living relative is CobaltWatsas, his brother and an operative of the Junker Congress. Though given the prior extent of the Watsas family line, and the fact that many of their relatives were far off the radar, it is possible that others may be alive and around. However, as CobaltWatsas disappeared at around the same time as Ironwatsas, the connections between the two are vastly different then previously assumed. Was cobaltwatsas simply Ironwatsas' creation?
Personality
Watsas was known to be a charasmatic, if cold, devious, and ruthless puppetmaster, this remains true even post-revelation.
During his time in Sirius, he forged what would become the Consortium from the ground up for unknown reasons (it is possible that most origin stories about that organization are true, and Watsas' intervention simply accellerated the matter) and chose Kusari out of all the other houses as his victim. Despite the Consortium making little overall progress, Watsas appeared satisfied and undeterred by routine failure despite overwhelmingly superior intellect and technology.
Watsas is also known for being stoic and calm, inhumanly so, even when dealing with entities such as Nomads, Phantoms, or the leaders of nations. He is also quite intelligent, being 'in the know' about most goings on in Sirius, and being able to form complex and often brilliant strategies to various ends.
Perhaps his failure was intentional?
History
The stated records of Watsas indicated he worked as a Freelance pilot and occasionally as a mercenary. Shortly after the Nomad war, he worked as a courier for a smuggler ring affiliated with the Corsairs. During which, he was ambushed by Outcast pirates and managed to fight them off successfully. His skill earned the attention of the Hogosha based off of the Luxury Liner Hawaii. He performed several jobs for them (who were under the veil of anonymity at the time. However, he eventually wore out his use, and was framed by the Hogosha for artifact smuggling, and locked away in Fuchu prison.
Eventually, he was freed in a raid by the Blood Dragons and Golden Chrysanthemums and taken back to Ainu. It is unknown what went on afterward, but Watsas gained a significant degree of respect and admaration for the Sisterhood. Soon afterward, Watsas plotted his revenge as he went to Planet Harris on a job to rebuild his fortune, using a ship provided by the GC. Unfortunately, Watsas was cought in a bombing raid by KNF forces during their siege of harris. His ship was destroyed, and Watsas was cought in the blast.
Immediately afterward, agents of the Consortium took Watsas' body to an unknown location (possibly the \CS\ Morningstar) and proceeded to build him into a Cybernetic body. Watsas, with little free will at the time, proceeded to begin participating in Consortium operations. While Watsas was specifically created to be the new 'Overwatch' of the Consortium, he was first put through a series of trials in which he was unaware of his affiliation. Known operations include the Junker Air incident, an abortive attempt to sell Rheinland Wraith class heavy fighters to the Red Hessian Army, and ultimately the beginnings of the Consortium's build-up phase into the military force it is today.
Eventually, Watsas returned to Kusari and sought refuge with the Golden Chrysanthemums, where he worked as an unpaid mercenary to earn their and the Blood Dragons' trust over months and several battles with the Farmers Alliance and Kusari Naval forces. Ultimately, after the Morioka Incident, the Consortium was revealed in earnest. Since then, Watsas has mainly remained on Ainu Depot, coordinating Consortium operations from his Laboratory and the Tea House there.
The Revelation
In 818 A.S., Watsas and several other individuals seemingly connected to him disappeared without warning. The Consortium was left in disarray and a number of ships owned by individuals related to watsas changed hands inexplicibly. A small trickle of information from several individuals began to piece together a picture of what had happened. Watsas had manipulated, or perhaps outright created several individuals, both human and Slomon K'hara, and had been manipulating them via unknown means.
Those he manipulated included the Golden Chrysanthemums, members of the Kusari Empire, the entirety of the Consortium, CobaltWatsas (if infact he wasn't just a creation of Ironwatsas' will), Iazyne-Aezali, Jonas Klein, Trade-Seamus, Naomi-Ichiyusei, Elfriede-Brigitta, the adolescant K'hara referred to as 'Sunlight', the crew of the Kusari Explorer Adriatic, Juan Maldonato, and possibly many more individuals.
Interestingly, a few people who disappeared at the same time as Watsas, including Ame-no-Uzume and Udo Ackermann seem to still exist as independent entities. Yet others such as Nurse Olga, FuzzyThing, and Zeta Foxtrot remained in Sirius unaffected by the disappearances.
The information which leaked through to a few individuals in Sirius indicate that both Ironwatsas and Ame-Chan have, for unknown reasons and means, left Sirius entirely for parts unknown. The simple ability to do this indicates both have powers and abilities far in excess of what was previously considered. Far more perhaps then even the Admins. They have also stated they are unlikely to ever return, again, for unknown reasons.
The fact that Watsas can (seemingly easily) transgress entire universes, and create and manipulate entities like Vampires, Nomads, and possibly even Ame, states that he is something 'other' then what has been encountered in Sirius before...
