"A freelancer or freelance worker is a term commonly used for a person who is self-employed and is not necessarily committed to a particular employer long-term. Freelance workers are sometimes represented by a company or a temporary agency that resells freelance labor to clients; others work independently or use professional associations or websites to get work."[1]
Sirius is nice spot for people, who want to work. Since Edison Trent the profession of being a freelancer has become more and more public. Many people form all Sirius left their home to seek luck, lore or more in space. Freelancer are well known for the following space jobs:
- Trader Escords
- Licensed Mining
- Trading
- Combat-Support
- Building of Mercenary-groops
- Discovering of unkown space
- Helping other fraction for money
Since the Nomad War some Freelancers have created own station independent from any government and even more liberal than a freeport. Many of these stations are used by pirates and other unlawfull people as base. The most popular freelancer station is the Barrier Gate Station that holds about 4.000 people and is home to some larger freelancer groops.
