A large asteroid within the Voiron Asteroid Field was a perfect place to establish the first base of operations of the Council in Burgundy. A safe position within the field guaranteed that Gallic Capital ships would be unable to attack it directly. Numerous fighter wings then ensured that lighter Navy patrols would not pose a significant risk. It is suspected that the Gallic Royal Navy is aware of Macons existance, but has no means to destroy it. Gallic Brigands and Maquis also frequent the station.
