"A wolf in the night," this ship has enough expanded features to ensure that it has the advantage in equal-armed conflict. The Wolfhound has enough armor and a generously amplified power output to easily wear down combatants, while also harboring enough cargo space to easily strip them down and carry off the spoils.

Review (4.86)
Most people are familiar with the Wolfhound as the one heavy fighter *not* to get in the final stages of the single player campaign. It is a huge, slow, underpowered punching bag; as a low level fighter there is really not much to say about it, except the only reason to buy one in Discovery is to satisfy RP requirements for Rogue or Molly characters working their way up. Make your money quick and get out of this tub ASAP. On the upside, if RPing a lawful Liberty or Bretonian character then meeting a group of Woflhound NPCs in a mission is tantamount to winning a quick mission. (As opposed to, say, Dagger and Legionnaire NPCs which can take all day to shoot down.) Just watch out for mine spamming. NPC Rogue gunboat patrols with Wolfhound escorts can also be a danger to low level characters in Liberty, but that's about it.
