The Minneapolis is one of the newest ships of the Liberty Navy. It was built just prior to the start of the Liberty/Rheinland war, and has been stationed in Minnesota to prevent Rheinland Military ships from attacking the Moorhead supply depot. However, her patrols see more action against Xeno and Rogue pilots then Rheinlanders.
