While before Thames Outpost served merely as a relay hub for Goods and Commodities to be transferred between Transports, thus keeping pressure off the space ports on New London, the advance of the Gallic Royal Navy has forced Thames Outpost to become a staging ground for counter attacks and a place for ships to rearm and refuel. Caught up in the middle of the conflict, the station has taken relatively little damage. However, this might soon change once the Royal Navy fully grasps the increased strategic importance of Thames.
