Considered the embodiment of Gaian efficiency, the Claymore is a milestone in aggressive utilitarian elegance.

With its compact frame and thick hull, the craft is ideally suited for the quick hit and run tactics heavily favored by the faction.

Although produced on a very limited scale with the covert backing of the legitimate arm of the Gaians, known as the Green Front, the Claymore is a welcome addition to the Gaian cause.

Outdated Review (4.86)

Review (4.86) This Gaian (Guard) only ship is one of the more manuverable gunships. She is very fast, and has a very tiny head on profile, making head on attacks good, as the damage can be minimized that way. Despite her grace, the Claymore really lacks firepower compaired to other gunships. One of her turrets fires forward only, capable of piviting side to side only a few degrees. In addition, one of her turrets fires almost exclusively backwards (it is also the only one that fires backwards in rear view mode). Rare sightings of this ship show that the limited forward turret mount is typically fitted with a Razor, acting as a pseudo-Forward Gunboat Cannon. With the back turret being the only cover for the rear of the ship, it is reccomended that an antifighter weapon be mounted there, such as a Solaris turret or a missile launcher.
