As a result of Tau-53, known as Rishiri within Kusari, being a source of friction between Kusari and Gallia, the KNF are unable to send any sizable force to Nagano, connected only by Tau-53, without potentially triggering a conflict with Gallia. Faced with no other options, the Kusari Government has decided to connect to Nagano via Tottori. Firstly however, Tottori itself must be connected to through Kyushu. Ageira, already working in Honshu, were more than happy for the large helping of new contracts that would result from the project.
