The Rocket Pod is a recent innovation in bomber armaments. The weapon fires unguided rockets that are primarily designed to breach gunboat hulls, but also do significant damage to shielding. The ammunition limits of the weapon forces pilots to make a well thought out strategic decision regarding its deployment, but when used effectively it can devastate gunboats. Bomber pilots are heavily discouraged from relying solely on the Rocket Pod and are urged to use a well rounded compliment of weapons.
