One of its most disappointing features is the coverage of its turrets. It's a transport class ship, so Class 4 Turrets and Shield mounts are included. But the firepower pretty much comes to nothing when you find that four of its eight turrets point in the other direction; giving you only four useful Class 4 Turrets at any point. So really when it says eight turret mounts, what it really means is four when fighting off pirates or bounty hunters.
