However, the conflict between the Corsairs and Rheinland impeded the Osiris. Its journey was placed temporary on hold, taking up a holding pattern around Planet Vespus in order to avoid detection. After almost six months of waiting, the Canaan managed to exploit a temporary lull in Corsair activity to sneak past the patrols and finally enter the Omega-55 system.
