Battleship Canaan was commissioned by the Order in the year 819 A.S. in the aftermath of the destruction of Toledo. Unfinished at the time, parts of critically damaged warships that had been crippled in battle were incorporated into its chassis as a means to rush its construction.
Five years later, with the need for the Order to move on, Canaan was sent on an expedition to gather reconnaissance in the Omegas, particularly Omega-55. However, the conflict between the Corsairs and Rheinland impeded the Osiris. Its journey was placed temporary on hold, taking up a holding pattern around Planet Vespus in order to avoid detection. After almost six months of waiting, the Canaan managed to exploit a temporary lull in Corsair activity to sneak past the patrols and finally enter the Omega-55 system.
Shortly after its arrival in Omega-55, the Canaan recieved an unusual sytem wide distress call from Dagger Outpost, a Core Facility orbiting Planet Skagen. Arriving in the midst of a Wild assault on the facility, they banded together with the Core in a temporary aliance to stave off the Alien attack. Unfortunatly for the Canaan, Dagger's communications aray was destroyed just as the warship arrived on scene. Heavily damaged, the Canaan fled the way she had came - back into Omega-58 system - where she met her fate at the hands of the Core's Battleship Mars.
