A cheap and efficient Freighter, the Sunburst is widely available on the civilian market. It is often used by smaller shipping companies operating on a tight budget, or by Freelancer traders making their living on safer domestic routes.

The Sunburst is an excellent ship. All of its turrets fire forward, giving it superior forward firepower, however it only shoots 3/4 turrets in most other directions. It is shaped like a fighter, and it slightly larger than most VHF's, allowing it to actually be viable when used in combat in cockpit view like a fighter rather than turret steering, taking advantage of its forward firepower. It also has a decent cargo capacity for a freighter and mining capability, making it a very cheap and reliable ship for beginners who want something they can mine, trade, and do missions with.
