The Order was founded in 25 A.S. by former Liberty officers and a post-Alliance general named Atticus Rockford,who fought in the War of Sol and survived the contact with the Nomads on the dark side of the Pluto. While classified as a terrorist organisation by the Liberty government, the Order has historically been regarded favourably by Rheinland, likely due to Rheinland's own problems with The Wild, and is considered neutral by Kusari and Bretonia.
