Achtung!

A great victory was achieved today in Hamburg. The Libertonian forces dared to invade our home, no doubt to give us a taste of the same stuff that we have been giving them over the past few weeks. But they are not us! They cannot achieve what we can! They do not have the cunning, will or discipline to do so.

We met their massive fleet with a matching one of our own in a battle for honor, our Vaterland, our Kaznler und for our families residing on Planet Hamburg itself. The battle was long and tiring. First the Liberty forces showed up in snubcrafts only. We had an idea that they had capital ship backup, but it was nowhere to be seen. We charged into them in our fighters at first to stop them from advancing closer to the Planet. In a matter of seconds, our guns started blazing with only one thought dwindling in our mind; Victory.

We took out two of their gunboats and some fighters after which they showed their capital fleet. Several heavy battleships escorted by cruisers and bombers. Our capital force stood their ground and with our combined fire, and a touch of Libertonian stupidity, we downed them fast. What was left after that was simply cleanup duty of the remaining snubs and gunboats.

Men, you showed fine discipline out there. Discipline that a fighter squadron commander can only wish for. The kind of discipline, adapting ability and wit, that can turn the tides of any battle. Rheinland is strong and still shining, and today we have proven that we are worthy of delivering its fury to any ausländer that opposes us!!

Last Night i did 3 patrols 1 through New Berlin 1 through Dresden and 1 through Hamburg

Patrol 1:
My first patrol was through the New Berlin system all was quite a trader here a trader there Nothing to exciting no pirates all was quiet. No traders were doing anything illegal All was peaceful so i proceeded to the Dresden system.

Patrol 2:
Entering Dresden I encounters some Hessians(//NPC) i cleared them out quickly and proceeded down the lane to Bautzen i swept the Schwefelnebel&Kruger Lavafeld which were both clear, then i took the lane to Pirna i docked and dropped off the hessians for the police to handle.Next i took the tradelane to Leipzig upon arrival at Leipzig i encounter another group of hessians(//npc) i eliminated them quickly and began a quick patrol around the Daumann Lavafeld which was also quiet so i set course to Battleship Altenburgh to drop off the Hessians in my hold. Once dropped off i set course for Hamburg.

Patrol 3:
Entering Hamburg i had expected to run into the LN or worse so my weapons were charged and ready to fire how ever, disappointingly, there was Nothing to be seen or heard of at all i flew to Vierlande all was quiet i flew up to Planet Hamburg nothing not even the "stray" trader "not knowing" about the Embargo with Liberty. So i proceeded Back to planet New Berlin and docked and being tired due to the time promptly went to sleep

Incidents: In Frankfurt, Radar picked up an red tagged IFF contact on maximum range for a second, unfortunately we were unable to close up to scan the target and lost contact as the ship presumably escaped into the Westerwald Nebula. After an unsuccessful search, we've continued the patrol. No further incidents happened.

Feldwebel Weiss, I have finished going over your Combat Evaluation test results.

Since we didn't have time to do a more complex test because of impending Ion Storms you got a bit lucky this time around. Either way, here are the compiled results of what we did.

In our combat simulation I have observed your positioning, aim, clutch decision making, and some other factors that I will keep to myself. Your positioning could use a lot of work, Feldwebel, as could your aiming. Generally, bad aim comes from bad positioning. At the end of your very short slides, you often end up in bad situations from which you cant hit your target. As a result, you end up flying in a circle while pushing your Afterburner to the limits.

As for your decision making in combat, it could use some work as well. Whenever I got on your back, you panicked every time. That panic made you fly far away from your target, back turned, dropping mines. If those mines would have been hit by my gunfire, your Wraith wouldnt have survived long.

Watch where you fly Feldwebel. Use your eyes and observe your surroundings. Observe your target and adapt to its flying style. Doing the same thing over and over again will hurt you more than it will hurt your enemy. Dont be predictable, be random. Surprise your target and strike him down when he least expects it.

Despite all of that, you have [color=#33CC00]PASSED your Combat test. You seem to have the will to improve and you are exceptional at listening and following advice. With practice, you can overcome your obstacles easily. I have your test result papers signed and ready. Pick them up on the Strausberg.

Incidents:

#1 .. In the midst of the transit between WP 4 ( Kielfeld ) and WP 5 ( Vierlande ),as i was about to pass the systems star, i spotted a contact on the radar screen. Due to the contact being far away from any usual traderoute, i firstly thought i might have catched a smuggler and decided to investigate the ship. As i closed the distance to the unkown transport i've hailed the ship and requested to maintain its current flight vector as i start a routine cargo scan. Before i was able to completely scan the ship, the captain of the freighter engaged his cloaking device with the words "don't think so".

In the split second of the scanner working properly before loosing its track on target again, i saw, what i believed to be toxic waste. Working out possible destinations for the said cargo, i've came to the conclusion that he might be headed for the Refinery in Koeln. I instantly engaged cruise engines and headed for an possible intercept at Koeln Jumphole.

After about 2 minutes of loitering Koeln Jumpgate, the said contact appeared right out of the dark in just 400 meter distance. I've successfully stopped and scanned the captain and there. Although his Cargo appeared to be legal, i fined him for 1.000.000 Credits for disordely coduct regarding following paragraphs.:

Quote:§2.4.1. Violation of orders given by law-enforcement authorities'€™ representatives.

§2.4.2. Denial to provide of law enforcement authorities'€™ representatives with information concerning your identification, documents on your cargo or your intentions in Rheinland space.

Reason for 2.4.2: Engagement of cloaking device interrupted my Scan before i could read out proper Data.



Since the cloaking of the Ship was a grossly negligent action trying to avoid Law Enforcement which nearly succeeded, no prior warning has been spoken out regarding the fine.

Sadfully, at this time i did not recognize that the papers the captain had, were invalid for the ship he used, as the vessel was capable of loading more than 3.600 Units of Cargo.

#2 .. I still loitered Koeln Jumphole, working on Data Saving from incident #1, as suddendly a Unioner ship jumped through the hole into Hamburg system. With me being alone, and just leaving Basic Trainee Program, the Unioner pilot sadfully had the upper hand in combat.

Guten Abent herr's and Frau's. At ze 1500 hours SMT I vas on a routine patrol in ze Stuttgart system. It vasen't for very long when I encountered ze Red HEssian Cruiser Chimera,vhat a strange vay to name a cruiser. I chased it to ze nebula that vas leading to ze omega-11 jump hole. I ordered it yo halt and it complied strange by zhe vay. I Started interrogating ze captain of zhe vessel. I ordered him to surrender he refused so I had to call in back up and he did zhe same. Zhen I found myself against 1 Cruiser 2 fighters. on my side vere one f our cruisers and a bomber.

As zhe engagement vent on ze Flieger zhat vas in ze bomber managed to blow himself up vith a nova torpedo leaving our Cruiser alone against two fighters I mnagaed to distract and destroy one Red Hessian Armee Strike Craft but I didnt have enough Nanos for ze other one but I managed to drain zhe Communist down to 50% of his hull vhen I hit a mine and it ruptured one of my Engines. Zhe rheinland Cruiser did not manage to Take down ze Chimera cause ze Bomber Pilot blew himself up but zhey managed to get away. My Guncam Images vere lost after my Fighter vas destroyed.

Guten Tag, commanders!
This day, I decided to start my patrol from Hamburg system. I arrived from New Berlin and wanted to start from Bering Jump Gates, but I stopped near the planets Hamburg. The scanner found a lot contacts, such as the Allied and enemy. They fought not far from the planet. I hurried there. The fight was between the Rheinland Military and Unioners. I decided to join the battle to help comrade. Two enemy ships were destroyed. The third enemy tryed to escape. We followed him. Soon I noticed that all Millitary ships come back to do their work and leave last Unioner. I was alone and he attacked me. We fought two. A few minutes later arrived Bounty Hunter and helped me. Unfortunaly the battle was over for me and my ship was destroyed. Later, I was picked up by military patrol in my rescue capsule and delivered to the planets of Hamburg.
