Guten Tag Oberkommando.

Today, Battlecruiser KKS-Sweboz completed a retrofit upgrade at the Ring. Upon launching for its maiden voyage, still lacking a main forward cannon, Red Hessian ship callsign Gunnhildr was immediately sighted in orbit of Planet New Berlin. Red alert was declared and emergency communications were sent to the Rheinwehr. KKS-Kaiser was moored for a protracted period at Planet New Berlin awaiting the developments of the battle before emergency disengaging, according to comms. No other Rheinwehr ships were in the vicinity.

The battle went poorly for the unprepared KKS-Sweboz - without weapon systems calibrations and lacking key equipment & support we aggressively engaged Red Hessian ship Gunnhildr to defend the Hauptstadt. After KKS-Sweboz sustained significant hull damage, KKS-Kaiser reached the skirmish which had drifted past Potsdam by now. According to analysts, both Rheinwehr ships were poorly equipped to assault the light Hessian cruiser. Upon taking critical damage, with multiple components destroyed and several decks venting atmosphere, the KKS-Sweboz attempted to make a retreat to the Ring where its reactor went critical, detonating the ship pelting the orbital stations and Planet New Berlin with debris. Few escape craft made it.

That is all.

Subject: Nomad siege in Omicron Delta

Guten Tag Oberkommando,

Under orders of Vizeadmiral Kunrad i was ordered to check out rumors of a Nomad fleet in Omicron Delta. On my way I got chased by a Corsair fighter in Omicron Theta, but the speed of the Spectre is unmatched and the Corsair had to break off his pursue. Arriving in Omicron Delta i could confirm these rumors. Closing in on the many explosions in the area, i was surrounded by fresh wrecks of Core and Zoner ships, who I assume to have fought against the Nomads until the last man close to Freeport 11.

The Nomads were still nearby, but did not seem to focus on the Freeport. They were already close to succeeding in their bombardment of another station nearby when i arrived, with only a few Order remnant capital ships from an already decimated fleet desperately trying to fight back. Not long after the Nomad and Wild combined fleet successfully destroyed a base called "Lab Reactor Read". Of course i held back, as i was only there to observe. I wasn't the only "observant" however, as there also was a gunboat from the Marinenachrichtendienst and a heavy fighter with a pilot named Caliban, nice fella. When the destruction was over we left and went our own ways before the Nomad fleet would turn their anger against us.

Attached below is footage from the event. These include footage of the Core and Zoner wrecks, the Order remnants and the base destruction.

Admiral,

The operation you requested has been completed successfully. My report on behalf of the ship's command is as follows:

Rheinwehr elements of the expeditionary force successfully grouped with BDM forces at Bayern's position. The KKS-Kaiser, my posting which was repaired for the operation, led the Rheinwehr contingent. The battlecruiser RNC-Balder led the Bureau contingent. The force completed grouping at 18:00 and jumped into the Earhart system.

Upon entering the system we detected no vessels and proceeded to the debris field to complete our tasking. Though the prior detected defensive systems were still active, we successfully gathered the Chirodebris you requested. All ships reported maximum cargo capacity and set off for an anomaly that reportedly was phase-aligned to the Hudson system.

At this point, we encountered unexpected enemy ships, two Hessian capital vessels. One Jormungandr-class battleship, the RHB-Utgard, and a cruiser of the Vidar-class, the Molotova. Upon making contact, we decided to engage the enemy head-on. The Kaiser was able to maneuver out of range of the enemies primary battery successfully, and our heavy Cerberus cannons annihilated the enemy with support from the Balder. The ship was left crippled while we chased off the enemy cruiser. Heavy damage was done to this cruiser before the order was made to disengage upon detecting further vessels approaching. These vessels were believed to be corporate mercenaries from Orex Industries, though we are unsure how they made entry. A withdrawal in order of all ships was made through into Hudson successfully. We were unable to confirm the destruction of the cruiser before departure.

We report no notable incidents on the journey back to Rheinland. Once we split off from the Bureau contingent, the Kaiser moored on Handelsdepot and I have been tasked with overseeing the offloading of the acquired materials. The Chirodebris shall be offloaded once the station quartermaster can finish clearing a secure space. Otherwise the ship will be ready to complete any further orders you may have.

Subject: Special Military Operation in Thuringia

Admiral,

Once again the ship report shall be penned by me. Captain Koller was killed during the battle, I have already relayed this to the Oberkommando's Personnel Office.

Report as follows:

At 18:00, the massed fleet departed from Weimar orbit. The Kolleda radioed us a general heading, but would not send a precise flight plan. There were some complaints among my own fellow crewmen about the level of briefing. Our own deployment orders were outside of expected schedule, sudden, and there were complaints among the crew that the briefings were inadequate.

Nonetheless, we entered escort formation with the Kolleda upon command. Due to conditions in Thuringia, our long-range scanners were performing at a sub-optimal rate. Only upon breaking into open space from the Hohenfeld, we detected unknown warships on an intercept course. The sensor officer reported errors trying to ascertain the nature of them, but the force strength reported was well above expectations for what is supposed to be a secure system.

The battle commenced at this point, a majority of our fleet formed a screening force for the Kolleda, while the Kaiser was positioned to directly escort the Kolleda with a squadron of capital ships. The Kolleda appeared to be suffering navigation problems, particularly around the "Suhl". It nearly drifted into the area, though our communications officer relayed a new heading. It is at this point the decisive moment occurred. Likely due to sensor interference, enemy capital ships successfully uncloaked forward of our screening line. They made a full charge forward towards the Kolleda's position. The navigational issues left the Kolleda more forward than anticipated. Simultaneously, at least two capital ships from the main enemy force broke off to engage the Kolleda at this point.

The destruction of the Kolleda took only a few short minutes. The Kaiser being positioned closest attempted to directly shield the Kolleda from enemy fire. With fire support from the Elbe, we managed to hold off one enemy dreadnought, but the appearance of the former RNC-Schiller, listed as a likely Niemmanite deserter left us unable to cover the ship. More concerningly we detected an enormous power spike from the Kolleda. It was at this point Captain Koller ordered a retreat and left the bridge, right as the power spike from the Kolleda peaked. Whatever happened, unit cohesion broke. The exploding Kolleda combined with enemy bombardment severely damaged us. Our gunners managed to bombard the Schiller and cripple it before combined enemy fire disabled us for the remainder of the battle. Recovery operations were entirely successful, though casualties were sustained, and the Captain did not survive the battle. The damage control officer does not recommend taking the ship into battle without lengthy repair. The ship has already been taken to Oder for preliminary work.

Normally I would end my report here, but there was another concern I had while reviewing the shipboard data for this report. The sensor logs appear to show Bundschuch ships, from the Platform I believe. They also show Technocrats. This in mind, our sensors were suffering performance issues and we could not verify all the IFFs. I suspect the reports from the screening force will shed light on their activities, but as far as I can tell they were shooting our enemies. Despite this, I must voice concern over their presence in a restricted system during such an operation. If you require further information on this matter, I will send as much of our data as I can. This, along with all of our other data will be attached in a file with the report.

We await your orders Admiral.

Subject: KKS-Leipzig Shakedown Cruise Report

Guten Tag Oberkommando.

Today, cruiser KKS-Leipzig completed the shakedown cruise from The Ring to the Frankfurt System, and ending in the Hamburg System. The goal of the cruise is to test the ship's and crew performance.

Overall, KKS-Leipzig and her crew have performed within expected parameters. During the cruise, we intercepted several Bundschuh fighters at the outskirt of Westerwald cloud, which are swiftly neutralized. Engagement data have been collected and being analyzed to fine-tune the ship's targeting systems. Several Bundschuh pilots have ejected and were captured for interrogation.

Near the end of the cruise, we intercepted a trade convoy at the high orbit of planet Hamburg. The cargo ship was identified as a CTE CT-73 Stork class Civilian Train but we were unable to identify the affiliation. The ship failed to respond to our hail and demand for inspection at long range, therefore a single disruptor missile was fired to intercept.

Communication was successfully established at short range. The cargo ship was identified as a Deep Space Engineering cargo vessel. Cargo hold was inspected to be carrying Helium-3, en route to the Ile-de-France system. Documents and cargo manifests were inspected and verified.
There are no infractions identified, but the automatic transponder was identified to be faulty onboard the vessel. We instructed the cargo ship to have their transponder fixed at a nearby facility.

The shakedown cruise is completed successfully at Planet Hamburg orbit. Crew are being debriefed, and post-cruise evaluation is currently in progress to identify areas for improvement.

Guten Tag Oberkommando.

The KKS-Leipzig was ordered to scramble and intercept an approaching Outcast warship which attacked our Battleship KKS-Kaiser in Sigma-15 system.

KKS-Leipzig departed from Planet Hamburg orbit 15 minutes after the alert was received. KKS-Kaiser was tracking the hostile vessel and reported to have penetrated into Rheinland space, heading into the Frankfurt System.

KKS-Leipzig was en route to the Frankfurt system to search for the enemy vessel via New Berlin. We made first radar contact with the hostile vessel, identified as the MNS-Redemption, an Outcast Hasta class Battlecruiser, near Essen Station in New Berlin System. The hostile vessel appears to be suffering from significant hull damage and fluctuation in their power core output was detected, showing the serious damage resulted from the engagement with KKS-Kaiser in Sigma-15.

MNS-Redemption refused to surrender and immediately opened fire on our ship, and we returned fire with all our weapons. Patrols near the Essen Station has also been dispatched to engage the enemy ship. We manage to disable all enemy's weapons and their main power core was shut down. MNS-Redemption disengaged and limped away from the combat area. The mission was successful, and the threat was neutralized.

Together with battlecruiser RNC-Schlesien, we continued sensor sweep in New Berlin system in case of further Outcast's incursions into Rheinland space. KKS-Leipzig is now docked at Oder Shipyard for post-combat repairs.

Guten Tag Oberkommando.

I have been ordered to join a regular patrol at Sigma-15 system today in a 13-ARKM-N3 bomber craft, a last minute change to my original patrol assignments.

I arrived Freeport 8 station in Sigma-15 System precisely at the designated time, joining the patrol squadron with Leutnant Holzner, Bootsmann Holger, and Korporall Beist.

Following the order, we initiated our patrol in the Sigma-15 system, proceeding to Wichter Station, outskirt of Pellworm field, then passing through the orbit of planet Hammersee.

At the end of the patrol, we rendezvoused with Battleship Schwerin in Frankfurt system for refueling, before heading back and landing on Planet New Berlin.

There were no unusual or hostile activities encountered during this patrol.

Guten Tag Oberkommando,

During my journey to Planet New Berlin on the KKS-Raeren, we received an emergency ping from BDM forces of a Nomad incursion in Frankfurt. We steered towards the place of battle and found a Nomad fighter, gunboat and cruiser with callsigns K'Hara|Vaer'Lif, Vagrant.Rakshasa and Vagrant.Wing.of.Psyche engaging 2 Buro ships with callsigns VIPER and BDM|U-175. We rushed to help, and soon got unexpected help from an Order cruiser with a damaged IFF that seemed unaware of being prohibited flying said ship in Rheinland territory. Nonetheless the help was welcome at that moment. The ship's callsign was Zeno-I.

The KKS-Raeren itself was in direct combat with the Wing.of.Psyche. We managed to disable the enemy gunboat while sustaining light damage ourself. Seeing their side going on the defensive, the K'Hara|Vaer'Lif decided to flee the battle. Despite our efforts to chase it down, it escaped. Nonetheless we ended up with no losses of our own. Footage can be found attached below.

Subject: Report Presence in Hudson

Guten tag to all Rheinlander Military Oberkommando Offiziere.

To the general command I report that, being on my patrol shift with the Gunboat ship named [RM]H-KKS-Ader.Schultz, when I received an interspace communication from Hudson requesting reinforcement for combat against Wild and Nomads forces. Soon, having completed my patrol and requested permission to sail the ship under my command to Hudson, shortly after the Hamburg system, I ordered the commanding officer to chart the path to that goal. Having received the most likely course, I ordered the pilot to start the course at full speed.

As soon as we entered the Hudson system, our intercom immediately obtained communications from the system, where there were already an entire fleet of Liberty ships, which bravely fought the aliens and their infected wild.

Unfortunately I was late to be in formation with our ships. These had been destroyed and it fell to me only to collect their Scape Pod’s and bring them finally safely to our homeland.

Below is the information exchange report between the survivors of Liberty’s fleet and us among them. Despite the sadness for the loss of our ships, our joy was to experience our victory over the aliens, being us the only remnant of Rheinland.
