Subject: Strange encounter

Guten tag.

Today I encounter something strange: "Unit-9467F." here's the exchange that followed:
Quote:[11.12.2023 11:44:28] Heinemann.Dietrich: hallo
[11.12.2023 11:44:59] Unit-9467F.: [Just a silence from the vessel, as it analyzes you.]
[11.12.2023 11:46:12] Heinemann.Dietrich: it seems you don't have illegal stuff
[11.12.2023 11:46:45] Heinemann.Dietrich: can I check your papers ?
[11.12.2023 11:46:55] Unit-9467F.: [::: And so - you do not possess our technology :::]
[11.12.2023 11:48:07] Heinemann.Dietrich: I feel something strange about you, can you hear me ?
[11.12.2023 11:48:23] Heinemann.Dietrich: *feel confused*
[11.12.2023 11:48:25] Unit-9467F.: [::: We do - human :::]
[11.12.2023 11:49:51] Heinemann.Dietrich: you are free to go as I don't have the authority to arrest people now
[11.12.2023 11:50:20] Unit-9467F.: [::: Acknowledged :::]

The individual left without making any waves, he didn't have anything illegal on his hold.
I don't know what to make of it, but I'd rather tell the bosses.

Subject: Piracy activity

Guten tag.

During my patrol I met a member of {DHC}, I decided to check him out to find out what was going on in the area, but he didn't stop. I decided to give chase. I was right to do so, as I arrived in the middle of a pirate attack. I was too late, as the pirate had stolen the {DHC}'s gold and fled when I arrived. I then went after the pirate with a member of {DHC}. Unfortunately, the pirate managed to escape from us in the vicinity of the Kreuzberg depot. Here's an image taken during the action, as well as a history of the messages my ship picked up.

Having understood why CSD-Weisshorn didn't stop for the inspection, I decided to let him go. He had nothing illegal on him.

Guten tag.

On my patrol I came face to face with two Gaian ships. They had a few civilians in their hold and from what I know of our laws, human trafficking is illegal. Knowing that I was no match for them, I kindly asked them to release them. They agreed. They then asked me to escort them through our beautiful regions to Bretonia. After the request was accepted by headquarters, I escorted them to our border at Omega 7. They were very courteous and respectful. Here are a few shots I took during these exceptional exchanges:

Subject: GMG threats during Sigma-15 exercises

Guten Morgen Offiziere.
I apologize for the lateness of this report. I decided to stand down Schoneck for a day to take care of this after reading the latest RCDB entries.

Earlier last week, we conducted live-fire exercises with an ad-hoc taskforce in Sigma-15. In the course of these exercises, we spotted an Outcast gunship Bautista.Pliego+ on the periphery of Freeport 9. Soon after, however, we were accosted by a GMG gunship Yaima.Maru, which demanded that we vacate the system. As the exercises only just started, I pointed the captain towards the Outcast gunship, and the GMG vessel promptly engaged it, with both disappearing beyond scanner range due to their maneuvering.

The GMG gunship was back after some 20 minutes, once again demanding that we leave, and threatening retribution. In order to avoid escalation, I recommended that they report back to their Guildmaster, just as we would report back to the Oberkommando. The GMG captain agreed, but continued to observe our exercises while making more threats. With no additional vessels appearing, we finished the live-fire exercises and proceeded back to Frankfurt for an after-action debrief.

Considering the actions of the GMG outlined by Oberrätin Bommel, I strongly suspect that the reason this gunship did not engage was due to the superiority of our force. This issue is more severe than I believed at the time, and I would prefer that it be addressed before conducting more exercises in Sigma-15. Additionally, the GMG captain mentioned hostile actions taken against them by Kruger representatives. To me, this sounds like a thin falsehood in order to exonerate the GMG for cargo piracy against Kruger, considering the rich Aluminum deposits in the system.

The logs of the incident will follow shortly, as the Schoneck's core has recently undergone an emergency purge. I have already contacted the other vessels on the scene for their logs of the event.

Subject: Unknown station near Hammersee

Guten Tag Oberkommando,

During my patrol in Sigma 15, i noticed a station called Stettin Orbital Farm near planet Hammersee. As I didn't find any intel about this station, i decided to pay a visit. The station however seemed in a declining state. When asking permission to dock, i got denied. I didn't insist further and decided to return to New Berlin with the information i had for further discussion. I advise the Military to investigate this station further.

Subject: Patrol and Hessian attack

Guten Tag Oberkommando,

I went on a standard patrol with my Kollegen from the cruiser KKS-Kaiserschlacht and fighter pilot Noah Butzler. Roaming the Hamburg system we met Spa and Cruise vessel ONE-Beefmaster. The captain Hilda treated us with some nice Schweinshaxe for underway. (great food by the way) Also a liner with a Freelancer IFF called Arkania came by.

In return, we escorted both ships until Hudson. After that we went to check Omega 7 and were offered to transfer 18 Hessian prisoners to Mecklenburg Prison. We accepted. However, it seemed like the Hessians caught wind of this as a Vidar cruiser called RHC-Vidar was waiting us at the docking gate from Stuttgart to New Berlin. We outnumbered the cruiser, but taking no risk of encountering possible enemy reinforcement, i decided to fly back and dock on planet Stuttgart to drop off the prisoners temporarily in a cell there. Meanwhile the KKS-Kaiserschlacht and Noah Butzler engaged the enemy cruiser.

Upon undocking, it turned out securing the prisoners was the right call, as another Vidar cruiser called RHC-Baldr was on an intercept course from the direction of Omega 7. I couldn't help out my kollegen back at the jumpgate as the Baldr forced out an engagement on me. While I was able to damage the cruiser, it managed to disable my ship first. My kollegen also got disabled at the jumpgate, but managed to do quite some damage to their ships as well. We sent a distress signal, and reinforcements arrived on the scene but the Hessians left at this point.

While we got defeated, we did what was right and secured the prisoners. Which was the reason the Hessians paid a visit in the first place.

Subject: GMG Transgression

Guten Tag Oberkommando,

While in combat, destroying a remnant gunboat patrol of Corsairs, a Guild member with callsign GMG|Yaima.Maru threatened to engage me in Sigma 15. Using ridiculous claims of their "sigma laws" they asked me to leave the system. I did not comply to these threats. However, my ship had gotten heavy damage already from my former Corsair encounter and was not ready for another engagement. The GMG ship engaged me and i had to make a firing retreat towards Mecklenburg. Still having enough firepower, i managed to get the GMG ship to back off and docked with the station.

A proper response should be made to these transgressions. It's clear the GMG wants Sigma 15 for itself and seems willing to go to war over it.

Guten Tag Oberkommando,

Due to the recent activity of the enemies in Omega-11, we had to visit different areas of this system with the Dreadnought under our command, which is armed with advanced reconnaissance and combat equipment.
Between Sectors 5A-6B, two bases were identified and seen. During our stay in this area, no special movements were seen. Therefore, in this report, primary information was provided so that, if necessary, measures can be taken to ensure the absence of enemies.
We will keep our Dreadnought in this system, so if any threats arise, we are ready to destroy the enemies as quickly as possible.

Subject: Sigma-15 corsair engagement & Blood Dragon entry

Guten Tag Offiziere.
Today, I was serving on rotation to the Ost Flotte and was called to join a scouting patrol into Sigma-15. After assembling near Freeport-8 with the Kaiserschlacht and the Ostkantone, I proceeded to patrol around the primary. As I approached Planet Juist, I beheld a curious sight - an Outcast dreadnought all alone in orbit, with various different cargoes. After demanding its purpose in-system, the kapitan let me know that he was waiting for the outcome of the fight with the Corsairs, who were apparently in the system. As I shadowed the vessel while still proceeding along my patrol route, I did indeed get a long-range ping from Corsair elements, which included a Unioner cruiser.

Deciding that this was a far more serious threat, I forwarded my coordinates to the two cruisers. By this point, an additional two cruisers, the Rheinland and the Jutland from BDM have joined the patrol battlegroup. All ships began converging on Juist, while I attempted to draw the corsairs from the nebula. This did not take much urging, as both the Corsairs and the Unioner were confident of their superiority over our forces. Right before the engagement was joined, I also spotted an Order battlecruiser, which did not however join the combat. While things started off well, with us taking down one of the dreadnoughts, the battlefield soon separated, and two of our cruisers were destroyed. We retaliated by taking down one of theirs at the cost of our BDM ally, and myself and Kaiserschlacht finally took care of the Unioner cruiser.

Curiously, at this point we received comms about Blood Dragon vessels entering the system. Indeed, I noticed chatter on the emergency channels which indicated that these vessels were successfully engaging the last of the Corsair forces. As my vessel was dry of both ammunition and repairs, I proceeded back to the Schwerin to get a fast shuttle to another ship stationed on Breuninger in the hands of our Kruger allies. The Blood Dragon vessels, by now formed near the freeport, allowed me to pass. By the time I returned to the scene, the Wetzlar and the Kaiserschlacht were in position to deny any moves further in-system. As I know the Wetzlar's kommandant plans to make his own report, I will end my communication here.

Subject: Not so friendly Blood Dragons

Guten abend.

The vessel of the KKS Wetzkar, a Donau class cruiser, was stationed in the Luneberg system, otherwise known as Sigma 15 to uphold peace and security, due to increasing levels of hostile Gas Miners Guild vessels. We did not find Gas Miners Guild vessels, but rather, Blood Dragons.

There were five dragons - The battleship Akato, the twin cruisers [TSK]BD-Sendai and [TSK]BD-Yoroi, and the bomber and gunship [TSK]Gou.Danuja, and [TSK]Hirioki.Serizawa.

While I was alone by Freeport 8, they began to threaten our vessel - a sovereign ship of Rheinland. With even threats to destroy the Wetzlar and kill those inside of it. Needless to say, this is a very high offense against the Rheinwehr.

Thankfully, the KKS-Kaiserschlacht and [RM]Lt-Elias,Beist appeared, and the Dragons seemed to sober, and backed off. Some of them departed, but others stayed, and flung insults and continued to try and escalate the situation in vain, against the might Rheinwehr. The situation flared once again when they seemingly took offense when we confirmed we would not leave the area, as it is under the protection of Rheinland. They continued to fling insults, but when we called their bluff, they backed off, and left.

Our vessel stood as a sign of Rheinland's protection in the area, and no further incidents were reported.

These Blood Dragons have no fear or respect for Rheinland. Perhaps we should change that? Our vessel and escorts will stand as a bastion of Rheinland superiority in the area, and if the order is given by Oberkommando, we shall remove these pirates from the area.

The recordings of the encounter are below.

[27.01.2024 18:29:50] [RM]<EF-126>: We gave as good as we got. And there are always more ships ready to engage
[27.01.2024 18:29:58] [RM]<EF-126>: It has to be a proportional response
[27.01.2024 18:30:03] [TSK]Hirioki.Serizawa: Pretty good right?
[27.01.2024 18:30:07] [TSK]Hirioki.Serizawa: Do you have brain damage?
[27.01.2024 18:30:18] [TSK]BD-Yoroi: Come now! Show us what you got. Saiko!
[27.01.2024 18:30:28] [RM]<EF-126>: Are all Dragons so eager to throw insults?
[27.01.2024 18:30:34] [TSK]Gou.Danuja: We have no reason to leave Rheinwehr.
[27.01.2024 18:30:42] [RM]KKS-Wetzlar: K: Apparently their mouths are bigger than their ships.
[27.01.2024 18:30:49] [TSK]BD-Sendai: CO:Know if you attack us, we will defend and we will have it known that you are the aggressers here.
[27.01.2024 18:30:50] [RM]KKS-Wetzlar: K: Unfortunate.
[27.01.2024 18:30:50] [RM]<EF-126>: I suppose I'll spend this patrol watching you then
[27.01.2024 18:31:08] [TSK]Hirioki.Serizawa: Mean while it take three men to satisfy your wife
[27.01.2024 18:31:16] KKS-Kaiserschlacht: Holzner: Dragons, this is a Freeport. And we have no love to the Kusari government and no hate for your cause.
[27.01.2024 18:31:28] [TSK]Gou.Danuja: Then why insult us?
[27.01.2024 18:31:34] Akato: RO: Ah, a voice of reason.
[27.01.2024 18:31:34] [TSK]Gou.Danuja: We will not accept demands.
[27.01.2024 18:31:41] [TSK]Gou.Danuja: Unless reasoned with.
[27.01.2024 18:31:43] [RM]<EF-126>: Have a care Herr Kapitan. Plenty are listening in this system
[27.01.2024 18:31:56] [TSK]Gou.Danuja: You seem wiser than "Wetzlar"
[27.01.2024 18:32:23] [RM]KKS-Wetzlar: K: Watch your tongue, if you want to keep it, Dragon.
[27.01.2024 18:32:23] [RM]<EF-126>: I have less to fear from my superiors for speaking my mind
