DSCore: Sichel

The "Sichel" was the LWB's first successful advancement into the field of ship building. This ship was designed during the early stages of the war between Rheinland and Liberty started, when the LWB's leaders realized that the war would cause difficulties in accessing the civilian ships previously used within their ranks. After a lengthy period of trial and error, the first successful prototype had been created together with Coalition and Hessian engineers, by modifying an Eagle chassis with durable, locally made hull materials and more rugged electronic components. The ship soon was built in greater numbers, but it remained an uncommon sight among the LWB due to the relatively higher production costs and limited manufacturing facilities available
