The AK-2 is one of the most recent development of engineers claiming to work for a resurgent Coalition. This tachyon weapon was developed after it became clear that the new Coalition series fighters had the power and abilities to fire much more powerful weapons that previously used. The Kalashnikov Series is believed to be developed from a mixture of home-grown Coalition and Bretonian weaponry, although the weapon's speed has undergone a small modification, in order to render it incompatible with Alliance-made armaments. This is the best and newest tachyon cannon the Coalition has to offer.
